It works for us
- It's been a few years that I ran into an interesting
piece of software called Partition Image. I used it
to do images of partitions. That came in handy with
a few overheating  and
short lived hard drives. When they died I simply restored
the partitions including the boot partition to a new
drive. Everything was restored. Operating system, programs,
registry, users and so on.
 There
was only one slight problem. The image was never totally
up to date. Understandable - I actually had to go to
the site, take down the server for an hour or two and
do the image. How often do you think that happened?
But that's only distant memory. Today I use Drive backup.
It produces the partition images on schedule as often
as needed and best of all thanks to the hot image technology
it does it while the server does it's job.
